Selling Tips
Seven Ways to Sell Your Phone Faster and for More
The same device can sit unsold for a month or move in three days. Most of the difference is photos, honesty and pricing.

1. Photograph it properly
Daylight, plain background, screen on, six photos minimum: front, back, both sides, the charging port, and the box with accessories. No filters.
2. Disclose the flaws
Counter-intuitively, listings that name their scratches sell faster. Buyers assume an undisclosed flaw exists anyway; naming it converts suspicion into trust — and it protects you at inspection.
3. Include the battery health figure
It is the first thing a serious buyer asks. Putting it in the listing removes a round trip and filters out mismatched enquiries.
4. Price against sold listings, not active ones
Active listings tell you what sellers hope for. Sold listings tell you what buyers paid. Price 3–5% above your floor to leave negotiating room.
5. Keep the box and accessories
A complete set reliably adds to the sale price and makes the listing look cared for.
6. Answer quickly
Response time is the strongest predictor of a completed sale. Enable notifications.
7. Sell through escrow
Buyers pay more when the risk is removed, because the alternative — meeting a stranger with cash — carries a discount they price in.
