Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, password hash, profile photo.
• Listings & device data: phone make/model, IMEI, photos, condition, location.
• Transaction data: order ID, payment method summary, payouts, dispute records.
• Usage data: pages viewed, search queries, device type, IP address, basic analytics.
• Communications: chat messages between buyers and sellers, support emails.

Why we collect it

• To run the marketplace, escrow, and dispute resolution.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and listings of stolen devices.
• To improve the product, search relevance, and AI assistant.
• To communicate transactional updates and (with consent) marketing.

Sharing

We share data only with processors who help us run the service:

• Supabase — database & authentication.
• Stripe — payments and payouts.
• Resend — transactional and marketing emails.
• Anthropic — the AI assistant (only the message content you send).
• Sentry — error monitoring (no payment details).

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to comply with Pakistani law or to investigate suspected fraud.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy legal, tax, and dispute obligations. You can request deletion at any time, subject to those obligations.

Your choices

• Access, update, or delete your account from settings.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email at the bottom of any email.
• Request a copy or full deletion by emailing privacy@mobilemart.pk.

Security

We use TLS in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access control, and Supabase row-level security. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication when available.

Children

mobilemart is not intended for users under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, please contact us so we can remove the account.
